HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team played the Drew University Rangers, resulting in a big 5-1 win for the Eagles Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium.
The Eagles started out hot with a solo goal from Miranda Madara (Bernville, Pa. / Hamburg Area HS) within the first two minutes.

At the end of the second quarter, the Eagles took advantage of a penalty corner, resulting in a goal for Aimee Buffington (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro Area HS) with help from Katie Golden (Pittsburgh, Pa / North Allegheny HS).

The Rangers were able to get on the board before halftime to make the score 2-1.
In the third quarter, the Eagles were able to draw a penalty corner. Buffington sent the ball in to start the play to find Lillian Case (Reading, Pa / Wilson High School) who easily found the back of the cage to secure her first career goal.

Two goals in the fourth quarter by Hannah Moore (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) were the icing on the cake of conference victory.

The field hockey team will play again on Wednesday, September 29th, at York to take on the Spartans.
