CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team traveled to DeSales this afternoon, where they lost 4-1 at the Turf Fields. 

The first quarter was even on both sides of the ball, with neither team having a goal. In the second quarter, DeSales was able to put two in the back of the cage to put the Bulldogs up two nothing and added one in the third. 

In the fourth, Sydney Witter (Newville, Pa./ Big Spring High School) put the Eagles on the board from a corner after touching three other of her teammates to which gave her the first goal of her career. Brittney McMullen (Shade Gap, Pa./ Bigerviller High School (UASD) played the whole second half of the game, racking up five saves on the day. 

In the last ten minutes, DeSales was able to squeeze one more by the Eagles to make it a final of 4-1.

The Eagles will play again on Wednesday at home against Wilson night at 7:00 pm.
