HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College field hockey senior Emma Dahmus (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) was selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) NCAA Division III Senior Game, the organization announced recently.  Only 60 seniors from all of division III are chosen for the game, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Va.

"I am excited for Emma to have the opportunity to play in the senior game," said head coach Caroline Gillich.  "She is very deserving and I think she is a tremendous representative of the high level student-athlete that Juniata, the Landmark and Division III attracts.  Her speed and skills are unmatched in our opponents."

The midfielder is one of four Landmark student-athletes to head to the all-star game and joins an elite group of Eagles who have been selected to compete.  Recent participants have been the program's all-time leading scorer and current assistant coach Kim Wagner Hilling ('08), and second leading scorer Paula Price ('11).

Dahmus is currently tied for the lead in goals this season with seven.  She has 50 career points and is seventh on the all-time assists list.
