HUNTINGDON, Pa. – At the conclusion of the winter season, Juniata College has moved to fifth in the Landmark Conference President’s Cup Standings.  The Eagles had three programs finish top four in their respective sports during winter.

Men’s indoor track and field had the best finish of the Eagles winter sports.  They earned third place at the Landmark Indoor Championships for the first time since 2010.  Both women’s indoor track and field and women’s basketball finished their seasons in fourth.

Women’s track and field, who collected three individual titles, was just two points out of third place at the championships.  Women’s basketball went on a five-game win streak at the end of the regular season to earn a spot in its seventh consecutive Landmark tournament.

The University of Scranton vaulted into first place in the cup standings fueled by a sweep of the basketball championships.  They sit one-hundredth of a point behind second place Susquehanna University who had the best winter season of all Landmark schools at 45 points.  Catholic University of America rounds out the top three, moving up from fourth.
