TOWSON, Md. – In the fall of 2013, the Landmark Conference announced the formation of the leagues’ All-Sportsmanship Team. Created by the conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the teams include one student-athlete from each institution for each sport selected by the players and coaches from their respective teams. The teams were established as a way to recognize those who are making an impact through their fair play.
The representatives from Juniata College are senior Brian Scholly (State College, Pa./State College) for men’s basketball, sophomore Paige Dennison (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) for women’s basketball, sophomore Sarah Rhodes (Bloomfield, N.Y./Bloomfield) for women’s swimming, senior Justin Herr (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) for men’s indoor track & field, and senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) for women’s indoor track & field.
Three of the five Juniata members earned league honor roll standing, and Woods earned First-Team all-conference.
