Juniata places 28 Spring student-athletes on Landmark Academic Honor Roll

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College placed 28 student-athletes on the Landmark Conference Spring 2012 Academic Honor Roll, which was released Wednesday afternoon. 

Juniata’s women’s track and field led the way with eight student-athletes on the Spring Academic Honor Roll, followed by men’s track and field with six. 

To be eligible for the Landmark Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes had to have at least sophomore standing academically and must have finished the semester in good standing with their respective teams. The Academic Honor Roll recognized all eligible student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

Juniata's spring sports that compete in the Landmark Conference are baseball, softball, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s track and field, and women’s track and field. All six sports are represented among Juniata's selections to the Spring 2012 Landmark Academic Honor Roll, and a total of 310 student-athletes at the eight Landmark Conference institutions were recognized on the Academic Honor Roll.
