Eagles Run at Lock Haven Invitational

Women's cross country member, Julia Freimuth finished 129th and set a new PR.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team placed 13th overall at the Lock Haven Invitational. Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) ran a personal record and Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey (Pa.)) tied her personal record.

Collado finished 27th with a time of 22:52.3, tying her personal record. Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) finished 34th with a time of 23:14.8, Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill. / Holy Trinity (Ill.)) finished 95th with a time of 24:57.5, and Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield Area) finished 122nd with a time of 25:42.7. Freimuth finished 129th with a time of 25:54.3 which was a personal record. Amanda Preston (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / East Pennsboro) finished 136th with a time of 26:08.8, Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) finished 142nd with a time of 26:15.5 and Alli Goulden (Wharton, N.J. / Morris Krolls) finished 145th with a time of 26:23.8. Alexis Barge (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick High School) finished 175th with a time of 27:32.8. 

The Eagles will run next on October 6th at the DeSales Invitational.
