PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The Juniata women's swim team fell, 150-100 at Chatham, Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles started off the meet with a second place finish in the 400 yard medley relay. The team of Tabi Dettelback (Martinsville, N.J. / Bridgewater Raritan), Cassie Sanidad (Silver Spring, Md. / Springbrook), Alex Fontes (Plymouth, Mass. / Sturgis), and Gianna Canale (Egg Harbor City, N.J. / Cedar Creek High School) clocked in at 4:25.88. Kendra White (Jersey Shore, Pa. / Jersey Shore Area Senior H.S.) took second in the 1,000 freestyle as she came in with a time of 11:58.03. In the 200 freestyle, Juniata claimed first and fifth. Canale touched the wall at 2:13.38 while Meghan Brubaker (Lancaster, Pa. / Lampeter-Strasburg) finished with a time of 2:29.22. 

Dettelback earned another first place for Juniata as she came in with a time of 1:05.70 in the 100 backstroke. Sanidad finished third in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14.81. In the 200 butterfly, Fontes touched the wall at 2:22.53 to take first place. In the 50 freestyle, Brubaker finished third while Maiya Mastovich (Johnstown, Pa. / Westmont Hilltop) finished fourth. White finished first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.81 and Brubaker finished fifth clocking in at 1:07.89. 

In the 200 backstroke, Dettelback touched the wall second with a time of 2:22.04. In the 200 breastroke, Sanidad claimed another first place coming in with a time of 2:41.11 and Fontes finished third with a time of 2:52.84. In the 500 freestyle, White and Canale finished third and fourth, respectively. Fontes took first in the 100 butterfly finishing with a time of 1:05.46. Dettelback and Sanidad claimed the top two spots in the 200 IM. Dettelback clocked in at 2:25.09 while Sanidad clocked in at 2:28.71. In the final event, the Eagles finished third in the 200 freestyle relay. 

Juniata returns to action next weekend for the California Invitational at California University (PA). The meet starts at 6:00PM, Friday and 1:00PM, Saturday.
