Baltimore, Md.- The Juniata men's soccer team picked up their second conference win of the year as they won 2-0 at Goucher College, Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field.
Gavin Rauhut and Jalen Holliday scored for the Eagles, while Brandon Marzula and Gio Amesti each had an assist. Maxwell Mattioni made two saves in goal for the Eagles.
A scoreless first half saw the Eagles outshot their hosts 7-5, while Goucher attempted one more corner, 3-2.
In the 52nd minute, Marzula bent in a corner from the left side that Rauhut met at the near post in the air as he headed the ball into the net.
Seven minutes later, Amesti got the ball at the top of the 18 and sent it over to Holliday, who was to his right. Holliday curled the ball first-time with his left foot into the left side of the net.
Juniata saw out the rest of the game, as they continue to rewrite the program's record books with their ninth shutout of the season.
The Eagles return to action on the road as they will play at Susquehanna on Tuesday at 7:00.
