Mohnton, Pa.- Men's golf took a trip down to compete in the Alvernia Fall Invitational at Ledge Rock Golf Club. Ledge Rock has hosted a total of five LPGA Tour Events, providing a challenging and premium experience. The team battled the wind and a challenging track, shooting 324 to finish in eighth place in a field of 12.
Ryan Hilyard led the squad today, shooting 77 in a challenging pairing featuring golfers from Kean, West Chester, and Eastern University. Hilyard led the team in birdies, netting two enroute to an eighth-place finish. Kole Washleski played a solid round close to home, shooting 79. Washleski used his experience at Ledge Rock to finish in T16 position. Harrison Levithan battled a tough walk to shoot 84. Levithan adjusted on the back nine, securing five pars. Ben Pintof also shot 84, tying Levithan. A good ballstriker, Pintof battled challenging greens and a sloped course. Both Pintof and Levithan finish the event in T36 position. Griffin Snowberger rounded out the scoring for the Eagles today, shooting 85. Snowberger grabbed a birdie, finishing in T42 position.
The Eagles head back east next Wednesday and Thursday to another Alvernia event, this time at Bulle Rock Golf and Country Club.
