Alex is a true point guard and will look to help facilitate the Eagle offense this season. He has strong ball skills and a quickness that will create problems for opponents on defense. His understanding of the game and floor leadership has continued to improve this offseason and he will continue to make strong strides as he gains valuable court time this season.

2010-2011: Raymond started in 24 of the 25 games he played in as a sophomore...was second on the team in scoring with 280 points, averaging 11.2 points per game...led the team in scoring in six games, had the team-high for rebounds versus Carnegie Mellon on November 15...shot 80.5% from the line, making 91-of-113 shots...had 18 point games versus Landmark Conference opponents: Moravian College, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Drew University, and the University of Scranton.

2009-2010: Came in as a freshman and started all 25 games at the point guard position... was second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game... totaled a team high 82 assists on the season while averaging 3.0 rebounds per contest... shot a team high 129 free throws, sinking 112 of them for a .868 percentage... was on the court for 31.2 minutes a game, best on the team... led the team in scoring in five games including a career best 24 points against Carnegie Mellon on Dec. 2... added two other 20 plus performances with 20 against Grove City on Nov. 21, and again with 22 at Catholic on Jan. 8... also led the team in rebounding twice, first with five against Moravian on Jan. 16, and again with against USMMA on Feb. 6.

HIGH SCHOOL: Selected as an Altoona Mirror All-Star as a junior and senior... averaged 15 points per game and six assists per game as a senior... helped his team to a 24-5 record and a District 6 championship as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Son of Gary and Donna Raymond... POE is biology with a concentration in pre-med.
