ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team lost on the road at Elizabethtown College, 9-0, Wednesday evening at Wolf Field.
Kara Stringfellow made eight saves in goal for the Eagles.
The Blue Jays scored three minutes into the game, and led 1-0 after the first quarter.
The hosts got rolling in the second as they struck four times, taking a commanding 5-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Blue Jays tallied two goals in the third and two more in the fourth.
Elizabethtown had a 23-6 advantage in shots and a 14-4 lead in penalty corners.
Juniata will look to get back in the win column this Saturday as they host Goucher at 1:00.
