Women's Cross Country Takes Sixth at Landmark Championships, Vogt Named Second Team All-Conference

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team competed at the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Moravian University. The team placed sixth overall while Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) led the pack of Eagles, coming in eighth out of 78 runners with running a 24:17.8. Vogt, a sophomore, was named to Landmark Second Team All-Conference.

Reagan Goldsmith (Middletown, Del. / Middletown) placed 44th with a time of 27:12.5,  Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill. / Holy Trinity (Ill.)) placed 49th with a time of 27:30.7, Rebecca Christophel (Three Springs, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon County HS) placed 70th while finishing in 30:42.8, and Lexie Barge (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick High School) placed 73rd with a time of 31:08.8. 

The Eagles will compete at regionals hosted by Dickinson on November 13th.
