LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team opened their season at the Bucknell Bison Open on Saturday afternoon.  

Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn./ Fairfield Warde HS) finished 27th at 19:42.6 for the Eagles. Kristen Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa./ Grier School)  finished 34th with a time of 20:57.5, Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill./ Holy Trinity HS) finished 35th at a time of 21:36.9, Reagan Goldsmith (Middletown, Del./Middletown HS) finished 36th at 22:45.3, Lucy Corthell (Seattle, Wa./ Roosevelt High School) finished 37th with a time of 22:47.5 and Rebecca Christophel (Three Springs, Pa./ Southern Huntingdon) finished 38th with a time of 24:35.2.

The Eagles will return to the trail on September 17th at the Moravian Invitational.
