GETTYSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team took seventh place at the Gettysburg Invitational, Saturday morning.
Azia Kalil (Bedford, Mass. / Methuen HS) took second placed as she crossed the line at 22:54.0, Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) placed 33rd with a time of 24:52.8, Abigail Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) placed 64th with a time of 26:01.2, and Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) placed 65th coming in with a time of 26:01.7. Madison Steigman (Hamden, Conn. / Hamden High) placed 85th with a time of 27:18.0, Alexis Barge (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick High School) placed 91st coming in with a time of 27:40.7 and Jessica Aragon (Bridgeport, Conn. / Central HS) placed 94th with a time of 27:46.7.
The Eagles return November 2nd as they close out their regular season at Landmark Championships hosted by Catholic.
