CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team placed eighth at the DeSales Invitational, Saturday.
Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey (Pa.)) finished 16th (23:41.9), Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) finished 18th (23:48.1), and Amanda Preston (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / East Pennsboro) finished 61st (26:17.1). Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield Area) finished 65th (26:23.3), Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) finished 70th (26:50.6), Abigail Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) finished 81st (27:26.6), and Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill. / Holy Trinity (Ill.)) finished 83rd (27:34.1).
The Eagles return October 13th for the Gettysburg Invitational.
