Eagles Picked Fourth in Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll

The Landmark Conference released the Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll and Juniata was selected fourth.

Elizabethtown was selected first and received seven first place votes with Moravian in second and Susquehanna third.

The Eagles will be led by returning seniors Vanessa Hurst (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and Allyson Kopera (Hastings, Pa./Northern Cambria).  Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey), Alli Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Krolls), Lydia Heishman (Keelzetown, Pa./Spotswood High) and Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) round out the upper class.

 

Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass./Methuen HS), Julia Freimuth (York, Pa./ Cedar Cliff), Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa./Somerset Area HS), Erica Meehan (Amherst, N.H./Souhegan HS) and Cluadia Sacks (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) represent the rising sophomores.
