CENTER VALLEY, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team finished 13^th out of 35 teams at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles had an average time of 24:48.

Allyson Kopera (Hastings, Pa./Northern Cambria) led the Eagles with a time of 24:09 and placed 46^th. Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass./Methuen) was 60^th and crossed the finish line in 24:25. Claudia Sacks (Allentown, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) was 79^th in a time of 24:52. Other finishers for JC were Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y./Milton Hershey (Pa.) (25:00), Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) (25:33), Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa./Somerset Area HS), (26:38) and Chelsea Chizmar (Johnstown, Pa./Forest Hills) (28:27).

The women return to competition next Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitational. Start time is at 11:30 p.m.
