BUTLER, PA – The Juniata women's cross country team placed 9^th at the Mack Cooper Invitational at Slippery Rock University on Saturday. The Eagles were led by Allyson Kopera (Hastings, PA / Northern Cambria). Kopera ran a time of 24:44.4 and placed 28^th.

Yanibel Collado (Freeport, NY / Milton Hershey) finished in 38^th place with a time of 25:42.5. Jecenia Duran (Temple, PA / Oley Valley) placed 50^th with a time of 26:44.2. Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, PA / Hempfield Area) placed 56^th and was followed by Vanessa Hurst (Ephrata, PA / Ephrata) in 63^rd place.

The team will compete next on Oct. 17 at Lafayette University.
