Huntingdon, Pa., Two days after being named the Landmark Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week, freshman Allyson Kopera has garnered yet another recognition for her run at the Goucher Classic on Saturday.

Earlier today, Kopera was named the ECAC South Rookie of the Week. The freshman hlped the women’s cross country team place third out of eleven teams competing, coming a point shy of second. The freshman finished the 6,000-meter race in first, clocking in at 25:02.00.

Both cross country teams will continue their season this Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitational. Race times are TBD.
