Huntingdon, Pa., Freshman Allyson Kopera has been named the Landmark Conference women’s cross crounty athlete of the week earlier today. Kopera has been the top runner for the women this fall. The freshman won her second event of the season at the Goucher Classic on Saturday, finishing the 6,000-meter race in 25:02.00 to help the Eagles place third out of the eleven teams competing.
The men’s and women’s teams will continue their season at the Gettysburg Invitational this Saturday. Race times are TBD.
