HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women's cross country team turns its focus to the 2013 NCAA DIII Mideast Regional on Saturday. The meet will be hosted by Muhlenberg College and will take place at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. There will be 59 teams competing on the women's side, as they take on a 6K course.

The Eagles will look to their lone senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) to turn in yet another strong performance. Woods was recently named Landmark Performer of the Year, as well as a First Team runner. She was the winner of the Landmark Championship meet on Nov. 2, and currently holds the program and conference record in the 6K event.

Juniata is sending three other runners to the regional meet. Juniors Courtney Peterson (York, Pa./Central York) and Emily Wolf (York, Pa./Central York), and sophomore Jecenia Duran (Temple, Pa./Oley Valley) are hoping to turn in personal records of their own.

The meet kicks off with the women's race at 11 a.m. The men's race will begin at 12:30 p.m.
