A former All-American setter for the Eagles, Huntingdon native, Beth Kozak, returns to the Juniata women’s volleyball program for her fourth season as an assistant coach to former mentor Heather Pavlik.

Kozak earned AVCA Second-Team All-America honors in 2007 after logging 1,325 assists, an average of 12.99 assists per set.  She followed up with Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2008 as a senior, after averaging 5.30 assists per set in Juniata’s 6-2 offense.

Kozak tallied 3,810 assists for her career and ranks sixth among Juniata’s all-time career leaders. A member of the 2006 NCAA National Championship team, averaged 9.50 assists over 401 sets played, and logged 1,019 digs (2.54 per set), 135 service aces (0.34 per set), 120 kills (0.30 per set), and 70 total blocks (0.17 per set).

Kozak graduated from Juniata in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in educational studies with secondary emphasis in psychology.  She received her master’s in counseling from West Chester University, and currently works as a Clinical Coordinator/Mobile Therapist in the Huntingdon area and is the Guidance Counselor at Tussey Mountain Junior High School.

As a high school junior, Kozak was a member of Huntingdon Area High School’s 2003 Pennsylvania girls’ volleyball state championship squad.
