HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The #1 Juniata women's volleyball team swept aside Susquehanna University, 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-8) Thursday evening inside Memorial Gymnasium.

The opening set was 3-3, with the River Hawks pulling even on a JC attack error and a kill. Two Audrey Muth kills, three errors by SU, and four Mackenzie Coley aces had the Eagles up 12-3. Back-to-back errors were followed by kills from Lily Podolan and Courtney Williams as the Eagles led 15-4. Juniata cruised through the rest of the set, winning 25-13 on another Williams kill.

The second set saw the Eagles hit .444, their best percentage of the match in a set, and hold SU to .048 as the Blue and Gold used a 12-2 run midway through to build an insurmountable lead. A block by Williams and Muth ended the second set, 25-13.

Set three saw Juniata catapult ahead 12-2 behind two kills from Kennedy Christy, along with two aces and a kill from Coley. With the score at 15-6, 10 of the final 12 points, as Christy put down a cross-court kill to send the Eagles to the Landmark Conference Championship.
