The Muskies managed to get within four at 20-16, and the Eagles responded by closing the match on a 5-0 run, capped by a kill from Lily Podolan to end set one 25-16.

Set two saw the Eagles score eight straight, which included half the points coming on Kennedy Christy kills as the Eagles led 8-1. The Muskies eventually closed within one at 17-16, but again Juniata rattled off eight straight, with four coming on Coley kills and a Mia Schubert ace to end set two, 25-16.

After leading as many as eight early, Juniata found their lead whittled down to two at 16-14, with Coley's two kills and an ace from Christy pushing the lead back to five.
