LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Juniata women's volleyball team is ranked third in the AVCA preseason poll after returning to the NCAA Final Four last season for the first time since 2010.
Ranked teams that the Eagles will face this season are: #22 Christopher Newport, #4 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, #11 Ithaca, #17 Trinity (Tex.), #1 Emory, who was the national champion last season, #5 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, #12 Wesleyan (Conn.), and #8 Johnson & Wales (RI).
Landmark foe Susquehanna also received votes in the poll.
Juniata will start out their season at the Christopher Newport tournament where they will first face Christopher Newport on August 30th.
