Reynolds, Moroney Named ECAC South All-Stars

DANBURY, CT – The Juniata women's volleyball team landed two first team athletes on this year's ECAC Division III South All-Star Team. Eagles' head coach Heather Pavlik was also recognized as Coach of the Year.

Sophomore middle Megan Moroney (Mentor, OH / Mentor) and junior setter Kelly Reynolds (Upper Saint Clair, PA / Upper Saint Clair) earned first team honors. This is the third straight ECAC First-Team honor for Reynolds and the first for Moroney. 

Moroney finished the season with 329 kills, a .367 hitting percentage, 21 solo blocks and 72 block assists to lead the Eagles. She was selected to the AVCA Second Team All-American and First Team for the Landmark Conference. She set a new single match record in 2015 when she recorded a .783 hitting percentage (min. of 20 attempts) against Catholic.

Reynolds joined an elite group of Juniata setters when she recorded 3,000 career assists Oct. 17 against Scranton. Reynolds was named the Landmark Conference's Player of the Year, while picking up First Team honors for the Landmark and AVCA All-America. She finished the season with 1,229 assists, averaging just over 11 assists per set. 

This is the second straight Coach of the Year honors for Pavlik in the ECAC and her second of the year after being named COTY by the Landmark Conference. In her fifth season as head coach of the Eagles, she led the team to the NCAA Division III Regional Finals.
