LEXINGTON, KY- The #10 Juniata women's volleyball team continued its strong start to the 2014 season with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-16) victory over Bethany College on Friday night at the Transylvania Invitational. The win improves the Eagles' record to 5-0.

In all five of Juniata's matches so far this season, the Eagles have not dropped a single game. Four times in their history they have won their first four without a losing a game (1987, 1996, 2002, and 2007) in the current format.

Leading the way was Kelly Reynolds (Upper Saint Clair, PA/Upper Saint Clair) who tallied 35 assists and five digs. Brittani Young (Columbia, PA/Hempfield Area) totaled 20 digs and four assists. Gabrielle Ooyama (Fairport, NYFairport) contributed seven digs.

The Eagles return to the court for two matches on Saturday. JC will play Berry at 12:30 p.m. followed by #25 Millikin at 2:30 p.m.
