LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior Rachelle Wiegand (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central), of the Juniata College women's volleyball team, is one of a record number 12 recipients to earn the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 2013 Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship, the organization announced.

Through the generous donations of AVCA members, the Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship allows new or aspiring college volleyball coaches to attend their first national convention. This year's AVCA Convention will be held in Seattle, Washington from December 18-22, featuring over 70 educational sessions with more than 2,000 volleyball coaches expected to be in attendance.

Current Juniata women's volleyball assistant coach Steph Strauss was a 2010 recipient.
