Three Juniata WVB athletes named to ECAC South All-Star teams

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Three Juniata College women's volleyball athletes have been named to the ECAC Division III South All-Star team, which was unveiled Thursday.

Senior Libby Morrison (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) was a First Team selection, and was named ECAC South Defensive Player of the Year.  Junior hitter Kelsey Fuller (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) and sophomore setter Courtney Greenberg (Fort Myers, Fla./Fort Myers) were also named to the ECAC South All-Stars First Team.

Morrison, a two-time AVCA All-American and the Landmark Conference's Player of the Year and Specialist of the Year, capped her 2011 campaign with 727 digs (6.38/set) and 36 service aces. In her two seasons at Juniata, Morrison tallied 1,322 digs, good enough to be ranked eighth on the Eagles' all-time career leaderboard.

Greenberg, who earned AVCA Third team All-America honors this season, averaged 10.86 assists per set – 1,238 assists total – and served up 34 aces during her sophomore campaign. She also logged 284 digs, an average of 2.49 per set. Greenberg was a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection in 2011, her first season as Juniata's starting setter.

Fuller finished her junior season with 218 kills, second-most on the team, averaging 2.48 per set. She sprawled for 249 digs, 2.83 per set, with 23 aces and 17 total blocks. She also earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team.

ECAC South All-Star honorees were selected by the coaches from ECAC member institutions in the South Region, and had to be first team all-conference selections in their respective leagues. The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is comprised of 317 institutions, stretching from Maine to North Carolina, including 182 Division III members.
