Women's Throwers Open Millersville Metrics in Hammer Throw

MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- The Juniata women's throwers opened the outdoor track and field season in the hammer throw on Friday evening, day one of the Millersville Metrics. 

Program record-holder Nandee Correia started the season with a 37.10-meter throw to finish in 14th place. Chloe Sauer threw 25.60 meters, finishing in 33rd place. Emma Coolidge was 37th with a mark of 22.88 meters, while Kaleah Leisher threw 19.98 meters for 39th place. Justice Sheaffer had a mark of 19.58 meters, finishing in 40th place. 

The Millersville Metrics continues on Saturday with a full day of competition.
