SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata women's track and field team finished seventh overall with 29 points at Landmark Championships, hosted by Susquehanna University.
Juniata took second in the distance medley relay, they finished with a time of 12:55.63.
In the 5000m run, Azia Kalil (Methuen, Mass. / Methuen HS) took fourth with a time of 18:46.75 while Abbie Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) placed 13th coming in with a time of 21:15.37. Kalil claimed the seventh spot in the 3000m, clocking in at 10:56.20. Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) placed 20th (11:52.22) while Alli Goulden (Wharton, N.J. / Morris Knolls) placed 22nd (12:40.00) in the 3000m.
In the 60m hurdles, Meadow Walshaw-Wertz (Sunbury, Pa. / Upper Dauphin) placed fourth with a time of 10.13. In the 800m run, Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey) placed ninth coming in with a time of 2:30.59, Grace Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg) placed 12th with a time of 2:35.18 and Jessica Aragon (Bridgeport, Conn. / Bridgeport Central HS) placed 17th with a time of 2:46.43. Mellanie Barnes (Chicago, Ill. / Holy Trinity (Ill.)) placed 10th in the mile and Sarah Melgar (Portage, Mich. / Portage Northern) placed 16th.
In the 60m dash, Holly Caldwell (Milford, Conn. / Jonathan Law) finished 17th with a time of 9.21. In the 200m dash, Caitlyn Gasmen (Bridgewater, N.J. / Bridgewater-Raritan) placed 17th (31.20) while Caldwell placed 18th (31.71). The Eagles 4x200 medley relay placed sixth with a time of 1:57.80. The 4x400m relay placed fifth crossing the line at 4:26.63.
In the field, Kylie Orndorf (Milheim, Pa. / Penns Valley) placed third in the shot put marking 10.43m while Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed 15th marking 7.86m. In the weight throw, Orndorf placed fourth marking 12.89m and Davignon placed 17th marking 8.52m. Walshaw-Wertz placed eighth in the long jump, marking 4.71m. In the triple jump, Walshaw-Wertz placed 11th marking 9.19m.
