Women's Track and Field Tabbed Fourth in Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women's indoor track and field team was selected fourth in this year's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Juniata finished nine points behind Susquehanna, while Elizabethtown is second with 45 points and one first place vote. Moravian sits at the top with 60 points and six first place votes. 
 
The Eagles are returning three Landmark All-Conference second teamers. Senior, Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey) finished second last season in the 3,000 meter run. Her time of 10:45.62 put her in the third top spot all-time in Juniata history. Collado, Grace Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg), and Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield) were part of the Eagles second place distance medley relay. 
 
The Eagles start off their season today. They will travel to Susquehanna for the River Hawks Opener.
