BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field team competed at the Coach P Invitational held at Moravian, Friday and Saturday.

In the 1500m, Yanibel Collado (Freeport, N.Y. / Milton Hershey) came in first place with a time of 4:49.21. In the 100m run, Julia Freimuth (York, Pa. / Cedar Cliff HS) finished 56th with a time of 14.26 while Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished 64th with a time of 15.36. In the 200m, Freimuth crossed the line at 29.76 placing 50th and Kelly crossed at 31.21 placing 51st. Collado finished with a time of 2:22.99 coming in fourth while Grace Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg) finished with a time of 2:31.20 coming in 23rd. 

In the 5000m, Abbie Echard (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin) placed 28th with a time of 21:24.14. Rebecca Herwig (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset Area HS) finished ninth in the 10,000m with a time of 43:37.78. In the 100m hurdles, Meadow Walshaw-Wertz (Sunbury, Pa. / Upper Dauphin) placed 19th and in the 400m she placed 18th. The team of Allyson Kopera (Hastings, Pa. / Northern Cambria), Collado, Alexander, and Meaghen Stewart (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield) placed 12th in the 4x400m relay. 

On the field side of things, Walshaw-Wertz placed 22nd in the long jump, marking 4.97m. In the shot put Kylie Orndorf (Milheim, Pa. / Penns Valley) placed 29th throwing 10.40m while Marylauren Davignon (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) placed 39th, throwing 8.50m. In the discus, Orndorf placed 16th (32.77m), Kaitlyn Young (Mount Ephraim, N.J. / Audubon) placed 27th (29.56m), and Kelly Leamer (Altoona, Pa. / Bellwood-Antis H.S.) placed 33rd (28.73m). Orndorf placed 27th in the hammer throw, throwing 35.95m. In the javelin, Orndorf, Suzy Badorf-England (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg High School), Leamer, and Young placed ninth, 26th, 37th, and 44th respectively.
