SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Seniors Paula Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) and Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) led the Juniata College women's track & field team with record-setting performances as they competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University on Saturday.

Woods took home the crown in the 3000 meter run in a time of 10:21.47. This performance surpassed her own Landmark and Juniata record time of 10:24.45 set during the 2012 season.

Pryor tied the record in the 400 meter dash, while placing third overall. Her time of 57.99 seconds matched Meredith Troutman's record set in 2004. Pryor also competed in the 200 meter dash, where she placed 15th out of 61 competitors.

Junior Courtney Peterson (York, Pa./Central York) finished seventh in the 5000 meter in a personal best time of 19:36.49. Classmate Alyssa Cousins (Lemont, Pa./State College Area) followed in ninth place, also in a new personal best time.

In the javelin, junior Kylie Berrena (Petersburg, Pa./Juniata Valley) finished in the top half of the field. Her throw of 30.01 meters placed her 20th out of 44 athletes.

The Eagles are gearing up for the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4.
