TOWSON, Md. – Senior Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) was named Landmark Conference outdoor track player of the week after another record-breaking performance at the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Woods placed 12th in the 5000 meter run in a time of 17:12.54 to surpass her own school record by over 20 seconds and make her the new Landmark Conference record-holder in the event. This ECAC qualifying time ranks Woods 14th in NCAA Division III this season.

This is the second time this season that Woods has been named player of the week. She garnered the honor previously on March 31.

Woods and the Eagles return to competition at the Widener Invitational on Friday, April 18.
