Women's Tennis Swept by Scranton in Conference Play

SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team fell, 9-0 at Scranton in Landmark Conference play, Sunday.

Vienna Cordier (Medford, N.J. / Shawnee) fell, 6-1, 7-5 at first singles, Savannah Bailey (Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) fell, 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, and Kelley Appow (Freehold, N.J. / Freehold Township) fell, 6-0, 6-1 at third singles. Jamie Mahigel (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County) fell, 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles, Kady Lohr (Shanksville, Pa. / -) fell, 6-1, 6-1 at fifth singles, and Emma Kramer (Chalfont, Pa. / Pennridge) fell, 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles. 

Cordier and Bailey lost, 8-2 at first doubles, Mahigel and Appow lost, 8-0 at second doubles, and Grace Lewis (Northampton, Pa. / Northampton Area HS) and Theresa Joson (Bowmansville, Pa. / Garden Spot) lost, 8-0 at third doubles. 

The Eagles will host Susquehanna for a conference match, Wednesday April 10th starting at 3:00PM.
