HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team dropped a, 9-0 non-conference match to Gettysburg College, Thursday afternoon.

Vienna Cordier (Medford, N.J. / Shawnee) and Savannah Bailey (Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) lost 8-1 at first doubles, Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) and Kady Lohr lost 8-2 at second doubles, and Theresa Joson (Bowmansville, Pa. / Garden Spot) and Emma Kramer lost 8-2 at third doubles.

Cordier lost, 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Bailey lost, 6-3, 6-1 at second singles, and Dowler lost, 6-4, 6-2 at third singles. Lohr lost 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles, Grace Lewis (Northampton, Pa. / Northampton Area HS) lost, 6-2, 6-0 at fifth singles and Joson lost, 6-1, 6-2 at sixth singles.

The Eagles return to action Saturday as they open up conference play by hosting Moravian at 1:00PM.
