Womens's Tennis Drops to Allegheny

HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Juniata women's tennis team dropped a match against Allegheny, Wednesday afternoon.

Lauren Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) and Katherine Conklin (Freehold, N.J. / Freehold Township) lost, 8-5 at first doubles, Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) and Kelly Appow (Freehold, N.J. / Freehold Township) lost, 8-1 at second doubles, and Grace Lewis (Northampton, Pa. / Northampton Area HS) and Jana Wegener (Lower Saxon / Germany) won, 8-3 at third doubles. 

Lucas lost, 5-7, 3-6 at first singles, Conklin won, 6-2 at second singles, and Dowler lost, 4-6, 2-6 at third singles. Appow lost, 4-6, 5-7 at fourth singles, Lewis lost, 2-6, 1-6 at fifth singles, and Wegener won, 6-4, 6-1 at sixth singles. 

The Eagles return to action tomorrow, March 22 at 9:00AM, they will face Hollins (N.Y.).
