HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata College women's tennis team won 6-3 against Penn St. Altoona at home, Wednesday afternoon.

Lauren Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa./ Altoona Area HS) and Katharine Conklin (Freehold, NJ/ Freehold Township) won 8-2 at first doubles. Savannah Bailey (Rockville, Md./ Richard Montgomery) and Kelley Appow (Freehold, NJ/ Freehold Township) won 8-4 at second doubles. Soumya Polavarapu (Bridgewater, NJ/ Bridgewater Raritan) and Grace Lewis (Northampton, Pa./ Northampton Area HS) won 8-4 at third doubles.

Lucas won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, Bailey won 6-1, 6-3 at second singles, and Franziska Stoffel (Bad Berleburg/ Germany) won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.

The Eagles return to play at home against St. Vincent on Thursday, September 28th at 4:00.
