Williamsport, Pa. – With another win on Tuesday against Lycoming, the Juniata women's tennis team moved to 9-3 in 2012-2013. Nine wins puts the Eagles in a tie for the third most wins in program history and is the most wins the Eagles have had since 2009-2010.

The Eagles' strong depth, and youth were on display Tuesday afternoon. Especially impressive were Yana Kohler (Lancaster, Pa. / Conestoga Valley) and Mitsuki Koh (Cupertino, Calif. / Monta Vista). The two freshmen each won by scores of 6-0, 6-2, in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, respectively.

Juniata's strong play was also evident in doubles play. Kohler paired with fellow freshman Jacklyn Renninger (Manheim, Pa. / Manheim Central) to take an 8-0 victory, and Koh, alongside another freshman Tori Gray (York, Pa. / Central York), earned an 8-1 win. Coach Jason Cohen's young team has been impressive in 2012-13.

The Eagles will look for their 10th win when they play conference foe Scranton at home on Thursday at 3:30. The team's 10th win would mark the second best total in team history.
