FROSTBURG, Md. – Juniata College women's tennis took two of the three doubles matches and made a clean sweep of singles on its way to an 8-1 win over Frostburg State University, Wednesday afternoon in Frostburg, Md. 

Stacie Beegle (Schellsburg, Pa./Chestnut Ridge) and Hilary Walsh (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro) led things with an 8-5 win at no. 2 doubles, while Lisa Hauptman (Lorsch, Germany/Alfred-Delp-Schule) and Cara Stough (Friendsville, Md./Northern Garrett) notched an 8-2 win at no. 3 doubles.

All four went on to post singles wins, with Stough posting a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Frostburg's Ashley Kuhns at no. 5 singles. Walsh recorded her 20th career collegiate win with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Zelie Collison at no. 6 singles.

Juniata (6-6) is at home on Saturday, April 7, facing Drew University in the first of three straight home matches. The Eagles will face Moravian College on Monday, April 9, followed by Susquehanna on Wednesday, April 11.
