Fontes and White Earn Landmark All-Conference Honors

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's swimming standouts, Alex Fontes (Plymouth, Mass. / Sturgis) and Kendra White (Jersey Shore, Pa. / Jersey Shore Area Senior H.S.) were named to the Landmark All-Conference team for their finishes in this year's Landmark Conference Virtual Championships.

Fontes took first place in the 200 butterfly clocking in at 2:11.37 to earn her a spot on the All-Conference first team. She also took second in the 100 butterfly to be named to the All-Conference second team. Fontes touched the wall at 59.90. 

White also earned two spots on the Landmark All-Confernce second team as she took second place in the 500 freestyle and the 400 IM. In the 500 free, White touched the wall at 5:23.82 and in the 400 IM she came in with a time of 4:54.26. 

As a team, the Eagles swam to their best finish ever coming in fourth place. Catholic took first with 577 points, Scranton came in second with 496 points, Drew came in third with 443 points, and Juniata finished with 271 points.
