TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's swimming standout, sophomore, Cassie Sanidad (Silver Spring, Md. / Springbrook) was named the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for her performance against Chatham. 

On Saturday, Sanidad claimed three first places as the Eagles fell 109-80 to visiting Chatham University. Against the Cougars, Sanidad and her 400m medley relay team claimed first place, clocking in at 4:58.88. She then took first in the 200m butterfly with a lifetime best meter time of 2:43.57. Sanidad finished off the meet with another first place finish. She finished with a season best meter time of 2:52.92 in the 200m breaststroke. 

The Eagles travel to Cal U this weekend to compete in the Vulcan Invitational, Friday and Saturday.
