HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata women's swimming fell to Millersville University 71-114 at Binder Natatorium Friday evening.

It was senior night for the Eagles (0-2) and, fittingly, the team was paced by lone senior Hillary Palmer (Fayetteville, Ga./Fayette County). Palmer continued to dominate, capturing wins in the 200 IM in 2:36.88 and the 100 back with a time of 1:12.10.

Freshman Erika Fimple (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby) continued to show promise by picking up her second win in the 100 fly. Sophomore Emily Nye (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) finished first in the 50 free and placed second in the 100 free by less than a second.

Juniata's relays also fared well in the meet. The Eagles kicked off the night with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay and ended the night in a close 200 freestyle race. The team came in only 0.24 seconds behind Millersville.

The Eagles head to Pittsburgh next for the Chatham Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 2. The competition is set to begin at 12 p.m.
