HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Landmark Conference has announced its 2013 swimming and diving all-conference teams and junior Hillary Palmer (Fayetteville, Ga./Fayette County) earned both first and second team honors. This is her first time being named all-conference.
Palmer set a new pool record at Marywood University in the 100 backstroke en route to her first conference championship title. She won the event in a personal best and Juniata record 1:00.31. She also set another personal record when she finished the 100 free in 54.27 seconds to earn second place.
Palmer broke two more Juniata records at the Landmark championships. Her 2:13.32 time in the 200 IM broke last year's record by 1.35 seconds and she swam leadoff on the 400 free relay that broke a nine year old record by 1.11 seconds.
She set a total of four personal records during the 2012-13 season. Palmer was the only Eagle to make all-conference.
