MEADVILLE, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team conceded three second half goals as they fell, 3-2, at Allegheny Saturday afternoon at Frank B. Fuhrer Field. 

Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa./Warwick High School) and Brooke Rotheram (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) tallied one goal apiece while Amanda Kopacz (Green Brook, N.J./Mount Saint Mary Academy) added one assist. Gianna Canale (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Cedar Creek HS) had three saves in goal for Juniata.  

In the 17^th minute, Kopacz found Bertrando at the top of the box and she slotted it home just under the crossbar. Juniata went into the half up 1-0. The shots were fairly even in the first half as the Gators heled a narrow 5-4 edge in shots.  

Alleghany found an equalizer less than a minute into the second half. 18 seconds later, Rotheram broke through the defense and ripped a shot from seven yards out to give the Eagles the lead back. 

Alleghany struck twice in a seven-minute span to take the lead 3-2 in the 58^th minute. 

Rotheram tested the Gator keeper in the 84^th minute, but their keeper managed to keep it out. Fiona McDonald (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) took a shot of her own two minutes later, but again the Gator keeper was equal to the challenge. 

Alleghany held a 13-10 edge in shots while Juniata held a 5-1 advantage in corners.

Juniata travels to Penn State Altoona, Wednesday at 7:00.
