Women's Soccer Falls to King's

Brooke Rotheram took two shots for the Eagles.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team fell, 1-0 at King's College on Saturday.

The first half was scoreless, with the Eagles able to get two shots. Four minutes in, Brooke Rotheram (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin East) took a shot but it was saved by the Monarch goalie. In the 16th minute, Caroline Braas (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) took a shot that was also saved by the Monarch goalie. 

At the beginning of the second half, Rotheram tried again for a goal, but it was saved by the goalie. In the 77th minute, King's took a shot from 35 yards out and scored their first goal of the game. A minute later, Emma Moreland (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest) took a shot for the Eagles in an attempt to tie the game but it was saved by the goalie. 

Juniata returns to action next Saturday, September 15th as they travel to Allegheny for a 2:00PM game.
