DANBURY, Conn.- The Juniata women's soccer team will return to the postseason for the first time in five years when they play against Albright in the ECAC Championship pod four first round, Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

Juniata finished the regular season 10-8 while Albright was 10-8-1, most recently falling 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament play-in game to Lebanon Valley.

JC last made the ECAC Championships in 2013, after they won a program best 14 games.

The overall top-seed will be Springfield College, who finished the season 14-6-1 and will receive a bye in the first round.

In pod 1, No. 2 seed Marywood University(12-6)vs. No. 3 City College of New York (8-5-2) at Springfield College.

In pod 2, No. 1 seed New York University (10-5-3) will play No. 4 William Paterson University (9-8-1). No. 2 seed Widener University (12-6) will serve as the host for pod 2 and No. 3 seed FDU-Florham (12-6).

In pod 3, No. 1 Grove City College (15-5) will take on No. 4 Franciscan College of Steubenville (10-9). No. 2 seed Frostburg State University (9-8-2)will host the weekend games and take on No. 3 Westminster College (10-8). 

In pod 4, No. 1 Lebanon Valley College (9-6-3) will play No. 4 Penn State University-Harrisburg (12-7). The host for pod 4 will be No. 2 seed Albright College (10-8-1) will play No. 3 seed Juniata College (10-8).

The winners of each pod, will go on to compete in the semifinal rounds on Saturday, November 18.
