Catholic Ends Eagles Home Win Streak in Final Minutes

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – A shot deflected off a defenders leg into the back of the net, giving Catholic University the 4-3 lead Saturday afternoon with 10 minutes to play in regulation.   Juniata women's soccer could not find an answer in the final minutes and fell to 8-5-1 (1-2 Landmark) with the loss.

Junior Paula Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) scored two goals in 24 seconds.  The first was assisted by senior Shayna King (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) and the second came from junior Rose Lucidi (Bayville, N.Y./Locust Valley). 

 

The final Eagle goal was scored by Lucidi on a pass from Pryor who finished with two goals and an assist for five points.  Pryor leads the team in goals (10) and assists (4) this season.
